The katsu at illwall is one of the tastiest I’ve had, so much so that I went there multiple times during my time in Seoul.
The katsu itself is fried to perfection. It’s served with perfectly cooked short-grain Koran rice. The tonkatsu sauce, which is made using olive oil infused with truffles, is not too sweet, and has incredible depth. The katsu comes served with freshly grated wasabi and maldon sea salt. So good!
